New Lego Set To Feature Braille

In order to be inclusive, Lego Group is releasing a product for ages 6 and up which will help people with vision disabilities learn to read. The group has worked with different blind organizations to come up with the product. Known as “Lego Braille Bricks – Play with Braille”, the set consists of 287 bricks in five different colors which can be interchanged with traditional Legos pieces. Each Braille brick has a number or a letter and raised studs matching character in the Braille writing system. The design is meant to be played anywhere and for anyone either blind, partially sighted or just want to learn Braille system with their family. This is a huge step for inclusion of the blind community as people have fun building and get used to Braille at the same time.
